The History of My Radio Broadcast and Career in Radio

"Airwave Salvation" Radio, came about as a result of two mission trips to the Philippines, one in 1989, and one in 1990, beginning with speaking on Air at two Radio Stations on my first trip in 1989 to the Philippines, then moved to Sydney Radio in the very early 90's.

In 1990, While in the Philippines, I was approached by the Baptist Pastor, who was (also) the Manager of the "Far East Broadcasting Company" in Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines, who offered me a permanent place on their AM Radio Station, after he had heard me speak 6 days per week, over a 6 week period, as Pastor Fred Castillio  from the Joyful Assemblies of God Church, had placed me on his Radio show, for that length of time, as I was also there, working with and speaking at their Church in Davao City.

I was the first-ever Australian, and first-ever female speaker, at the FEBC Radio, when the senior Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church in Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines, put me on the Radio there in Mindanao, Philippines in 1990.

I had initially been there in 1990 to hold smallish Evangelistic Crusades in the Barrios, which was to the poorest of poor people who were living in stick huts with dirt floors, no electricity, running water or cars, and around 140 souls were saved, in those impoverished areas, and were added to the Church, with much follow up after I left there also, it created new house group meetings all over the outskirt areas of Mindanao City. We had to walk in on foot, with a guitar and singers, and interpreters, stand on the side of lane ways to draw a crowd, as there were no auditoriums in these areas.

It was the earlier crusades to the Philippines in early 1989, that were on a larger scale, with multiple Churches coordinating from both sides in Australia and the Philippines to bring about very large crusades, where over 10,000 people were estimated to be saved, and many more healed or receiving miracles.  We had 2 or 3 Australian Churches working together with many Philippine Churches to arrange advertising months ahead of time, by the way of large banners all over town, advertising the healing and miracle crusades to Pagadayan, Philippines. The healing lines went on for hours and hours, each Australian had their own interpreter, God opened a window over the Philippines, and it was amazing to be involved in such a crusade. The success rate was extremely high, thanks to Jesus who healed them.

They made a tape with over 30 people testifying from the Australian teams of the miracles they saw occur at their own hands. Broken bones were healed, I heard them cracking in to place, goiters disappeared under our finger tips,, blind eyes were healed, white eyes turned brown again, people rose up who could not walk, it was the book of acts type of miracles all over again.. CCC Girraween joined Pastor Bill Prior's Brisbane Church and another Church up north to head over there with a plane load of Aussies, we spent two weeks over there, and had multiple Crusades.  

The Radio Audience in 1990 was much bigger however, reaching an area of 10 Million people through the Far East Broadcasting Company, which God opened up to me, when I went over to serve the Church in Davao City. I was the speaker for the Mindanao AOG Church, and I also spoke in other multiple large churches, while I was over there through invitation, mainly from the Radio I was speaking on.

There were too many speaking engagements to fill, as multiple churches were listening to me on the Radio, and inviting me to speak at their Churches,, so Pastor Fred Castillio made the arrangements, and chose which churches were the better choice for me to speak at. These included speaking at his own church of 700 members, The Joyful Assemblies of God Church, in Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines.

I have since, broadcast on 12 Radio Stations since 1990, (4 in the Philippines and 8 in Australia) and one free to Air TV station. For some years during this time, I was on several Radio stations at once, broadcasting around Sydney..

 I have to rely completely on the Holy Spirit to give me the words to speak, so it is Prophetic preaching. I also present Revival News, which is sourced from Revival Hotspots, and reliable Church News sources - eg. "Spread the Fire Magazine" CTF Toronto,  from the Catch the Fire Church in Toronto, permissions given by Pastor Jeremy Sinnott. and there were other Christian news sources as well.

I also pioneered a broadcasting network across various Radio Stations in Sydney.

I had permanent weekly Radio shows in St Marys, Werrington, Blacktown, Liverpool, and Campbelltown over many years. I later acquired another three Radio Stations on the Central Coast. 

On Airwave Salvation, I mostly played top Radio Hits, some Christian Worship, some Rock, Pop, contemporary music, with occasional classics.

I also completed a commercial-style Radio School run by several former commercial station managers and heavyweights in the industry with decades of experience, I had, by then, already been on the Radio for approximately 24 years, when I did that course, but it was very informative.

While in the Philippines, I signed a broadcasting contract with the Far East Broadcasting Company, and obtained another three FM radio stations to broadcast on, six days a week for most, while some were longer broadcasts on the weekends.

After returning to Sydney, my Church assisted me with the use of their equipment, as there was no digital recording back then, and I recorded all the broadcasts at the Church, five days a week and posted the programs over to the Philippines. I also spoke in some Churches in NSW after the Healing Crusades in the Philippines, and as I shared some of the miracles, there were additional miracles that occurred here also, one was a medically documented miracle at the Foursquare Church in Orange, which was under Pastor Hilco Zwiers at the time, it was the instant healing of a woman's deformed hand, which was confirmed medically by her specialist Monday morning the next day, who had been treating her for 17 years, she turned up at the Pastor's Manse Monday with the paperwork in her hand waving it at us, as we were still having a late breakfast, as I had spoken at the Church on Sunday for about 1 1/2 hours about the miracles we had seen in the Philippines, God was confirming His word with Signs following.

The Assemblies of God Church pastors in Davao City, Mindanao, then distributed my programs to the Four Radio Stations each week, which I then had "contracts" with, over there, and they also monitored the shows, to check that they were being Aired on time. Pastor Fred Castillio told me I was definitely called by God to "Radio".

The Far East Broadcasting Company was AM Radio, and the signal went to parts of other countries, including China. It covered an area of 10 million people back in 1990, and now that figure is close to double. 

Pastor Ian Treacy took over the Christian City Church (now C3 Church Global), and he taught electronics at Tafe during the week. He solved any equipment problems there were, and he also went to Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, which later became Catch The Fire Church, known for the Toronto Blessing.  Millions of people world wide were impacted by the vast outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, 75% who went there were Pastors and Leaders, I was one of that number also, who were impacted greatly and in a profound way by this move of His Spirit in 1995, which I will never forget.

Pastor Ian Treacy, brought back a new move of the Holy Spirit to the CCC Church at that time. He went to Toronto in 1994.. 

It was shortly after that I started a five-day-a-week, two-hours-per-day Radio broadcast on one of my several Radio Stations, where I had at one time 14 churches sponsoring me. 

I brought senior pastors in from multiple denominations, to speak on the Christian time slot, which I ran on this one particular Radio Station. These included AOG, Foursquare, COC, Christian City Church (now C3 Church Global), Baptist, Anglican, and Pentecostal independent churches, and I also spoke at some of their churches in Sydney. I spoke on Air, every day of the week in Sydney, at various times.

In 1987, our Church held large healing and miracle crusades in the Philippines, where there were massive crowds and where massive creative miracles took place by the hand of God. I was used a lot by God in this area. 

As a nurse, I led hundreds of people to accept Jesus and be born again across Sydney. As a nursing agency nurse, I had a different Hospital every shift where this occurred, and the Holy Spirit taught me to hear his Prophetic voice for Evangelism, and led me to the right people who were ready for salvation, each shift.

At that stage, I had completed four years of Christian City Church Bible College and 18 months of full-time living at YWAM Amsterdam. 

I later went on to do another four years at Ministry Training College, at an Assemblies of God Church denomination, and another four years of Prophet Ministry College at a leading prophetic church in Sydney called Dayspring,

I attended many other Prophetic Conferences, including doing a course here in Sydney with Prophet John Paul Jackson of Streams Ministries, where I interviewed the Assemblies of God Worship Pastor Steve Kinon, who taught the course for Prophet John Paul Jackson. Pastor Steve Kinon also released a debut Christian album, which I played on the Radio, along with the prophetic interview on the prophetic realm of dreaming in the Spirit.

Pastor Steve Kinon, from Dream Weavers International, and the New Jersey Christian Life Centre, received inspiration to record a song in French, in a prophetic dream, and it went on to the album, which I also played on Air, along with some other rock and pop tracks.

I connected with many ministries associated with Catch the Fire Church, Some who were speakers at the Catch the Fire conferences. 

Pastor Jeremy Sinnott was the Associate Pastor at the Catch the Fire Church Toronto at the time of the long interview I did with him on talk back Radio. He was also the Worship Leader at the Church and gave me permission to play and use their music on Air, for any Radio and kingdom purposes. I also completed a "Soaking in the Spirit" course, which was conducted by the Catch the Fire Church from Toronto, and was held here in Sydney, it came with a certificate. Pastors Jeremy and Connie Sinnott, are now currently the Senior Pastors of "Catch The Fire Church", in Barrie, Canada.

Other keynote speakers at the Catch the Fire Conferences, were Connie Sinnott, Pastors Wesley and Stacey Campbell, "revivalists" and prophetic speakers, and founders of the Kelowna Vineyard Church in Canada.  Wesley and Stacey Campbell spoke at Catch the Fire, Toronto, as well as holding Revival Meetings here in Sydney.,

I caught up with these folks regularly in Sydney, at multiple conferences I attended over the years, attending Catch The Fire Conferences, with the Senior Pastors John and Carol Arnott. The Sinnott's got to know me because of my Interview with Pastor Jeremy Sinnott, and they also gave me full permission to use their TACF music on Air across Sydney, which I did a lot.

I was able to share the testimony of my time at the Catch the Fire Church Conference in Toronto, at their "Sydney Catch the Fire Conferences", with Pastor Jeremy Sinnott. It was a testimony of my time in Toronto, Canada, at the TACF Church, and what God did there for me, and it seemed to help others to enter into the Spirit, who were new to this move of the Spirit. I will share more about the supernatural impact I received by God in Toronto, in a book which is in the making!  on how God spoke to me to go to Toronto in 1995, it was also completely supernatural. 

A friend had dropped off a cassette tape to me from TACF, (CTF Toronto) where

Pastor/ Prophetess Stacey Campbell was Prophesying at Catch the fire Toronto,, it was Ecstatic Prophecy, which she has written a book about, and she speaks on Prophecy, and founded the Prophetic Council of Canada, as soon as I played the tape, I was slain in the Spirit almost immediately by God, on my loungeroom floor, I was not expecting that, I did not understand what it was at first, and I didn't know anything much at all about "Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship", which further solidifies in my mind, that this was the power of God moving through the Prophetic, and this was not unusual at all in TACF, It was a frequent and fairly normal occurrence for people to get touched like that by God, even while watching their Church Service meeting, on a Video.  It's just a much bigger wave of God's Presence than we were use to seeing back here at home in Australia, glory to God!  Stacey founded Shiloh Global, 

This supernatural event, confirmed to me, that I should also go to Toronto, and since our Pastor Ian Treacy ,had gone there in 1994, I found a group of Pastors in 1995 who were heading over there, and joined them, a plane load of 20 - 30 of us went over! 

A Niagara Falls type of down pour of God's Spirit, was occurring there, and confirmed by millions of Pastors and Leaders world wide, in the Church's independent sociology Reports.  There are many great books written on the "Toronto Blessing" to avail yourself of, if interested. It was no different to the book of Acts outpouring of the Holy Spirit, it was unforgettable. Pastor John Arnott wrote a book of testimonies called, Experience the Blessing, and many other books also.

On my trip there, I took a lot of Photos, as evidence of this move of God. God still moves upon me like that when I preach, and while On Air over the many years, in the same way he does in Toronto. That was the trip of a life time for me!

Pastors Jeremy and Connie Sinnott were heard for years on "Airwave Salvation" Radio, as well as  messages.by Pastor John Arnott, as Pastor Jeremy Sinnott gave permission for the use of any of their teaching material on the Radio, and all of their music at the time. 

The Catch the Fire Conferences really impacted me in a strong way, this move of the Holy Spirit has

touched millions of people, and literally gone around the planet. We must worship God in 

Spirit and in truth.

I played Pastor Wesley Campbell and Prophetess Stacey Campbell (founder of The Prophetic Council of Canada) on my Radio Stations for years. Pastor Stacey Campbell did some promotional material for broadcast on Airwave Salvation Radio, which was heard across Sydney for many years, along with their teaching material. wesleystaceycampbell.com  Be a hero. org. I have had many high profile Prophets and Pastors speaking on the Air, as well as authors and recording artists, also Kevin Prosch,, whom I interviewed on TV in Sydney (1998—1999), gave me full permission to use all his music, for any broadcasting purpose, after I filmed and interviewed him for the TV broadcast, he has many released albums, and is well known by the Catch the Fire Church in Toronto, which was originally a Vineyard Church, called Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship.

These people are, in my opinion, the nicest people in the world! Spending so much time in the presence of God, really softens the heart. Humility of heart is key.

I also placed Pastor and Apostle Phil Pringle's messages on Sydney Radio. He came to see me at their television studio at CCC Oxford Falls and said to me, "I hear you're going to be putting Christian City Church TV on to Sydney Radio,” to which I replied, "Yes, that's right.” He then said, "That's awesome, that's a very good thing!” 

Pastor Phil Pringle approved their Church being on my Radio broadcasts, and since I had 10 hours of broadcast time on one Station in Sydney at that time, and another four hours on another two Radio Stations, I had plenty of room to play Pastor Phil Pringle's messages on Airwave Salvation Radio. 

This was an awesome privilege for me. I had attended his church also for many years, and was with them when this occurred. He has founded over 400 churches around the world, and they are now called C3 Church Global. He is also one of the nicest people in the World.

Many other churches have also given permission to use their music on the air. Even though Radio technically does not need permission to play the music, as it is all covered by the radio stations, I always ask, out of courtesy, when I'm interviewing them anyway.

We had Prophet and Pastor Jonathan Quigley, from Foursquare Church, who ministers around the world and sees signs and wonders. I interviewed him on Air, and also had some of the signs and wonders showing up while I was on Air speaking.

We also had a long On Air Interview with the Prophet Bob Griffin, USA, who has prophesied accurately to the presidents of many nations. These interviews will be uploaded to SoundCloud!  I got a prophecy from Prophet Bob Griffin, which I also played on Air many times over the years, confirming

the call by God to speak on Air.

Another ministry who joined our Radio programs was "Answers In Genesis". Initially, I did a couple of interviews at a Werrington Radio Station, with one of their keynote speakers, who resided in Sydney at the time. He came to the Radio Station for two separate Interviews, In the end, he said he enjoyed the Interview, and was happy to recommend me to the Answers in Genesis Ministry people in Queensland, Australia. Our association lasted many years, during which I interviewed several of their speakers, and played their material on Air. 

Since then, I have had many keynote speakers from their ministry on my program, including Dr. Carl Weiland, Head CEO + Editor of the Creation Magazine, (creation.com) which he produces and Gary Bates, Author of the Amazon No. 28 best-selling book "Alien Intrusion, UFO's, and the Evolution Connection.” website: "AlienIntrusion.com", and "creation.com".

I interviewed Gary for 4 hours on Sydney Radio. He is a Ufologist, and the ministry is a Christian Apologetics Ministry. 

We played their Radio segments for years on Airwave Salvation, where the top hyper intellectuals, scientists, doctors, Dr. Carl Weiland, Editor of the Creation Magazine, and Ufologist Gary Bates, all expound on space, science, the universe, and our Creator God. They have all the answers!

Gary has spoken many times on Coast to Coast Radio across a network of 600 Radio Stations in the US and Canada. Gary Bates was so popular, that the phone lines in the US were jammed for hours at their Radio Stations, as he spoke for hours and hours, he was invited back many times.

They decided to cancel all the other shows for that morning, to keep him on Air after his first 4-hour show, for many additional hours. He was so good and knowledgeable, that people couldn't get enough of his presentation or information. I had him on the Radio for two years in a row, and then replayed his interviews for years, in segments, as there was so much material. He is a wonderful and gracious Radio guest, and a great person who is also one of the nicest people in the world!

We once did an international interview with a pastor in New York, over the phone, on Sydney Radio that was exciting; it was talkback Radio. For several years, I also presented the news for two of the Radio stations here in Sydney.

Additionally, I presented Revival News (Revival Reports), which could be interviews, or Christian news from around the world, and the (Prophetic Report), which could be interviews with prophets, or prophetic news segments, of things God is doing prophetically around the world.

I designed these segments to cover different areas in a Radio friendly style.

We mostly played contemporary Christian music. This consisted of mainly rock and pop, but we occasionally featured earlier Christian rock.

One of my favourite original Rock artists was Larry Norman. He was dubbed in America as "The Father of Christian Rock.” I played plenty of Larry Norman's music over the years, and there was plenty of worship music on the Radio shows as well, Larry Norman, also held a concert at Christian City Church Oxford Falls, which I also attended, it was amazing, I played his music on Radio for years.

Pastor Stacey Campbell, Canada's leading Prophet,  had prayed for Larry Norman at Toronto for emotional healing from a great deal of abuse which came from some in the Christian Church, because he was very much a pioneer and ahead of his time, changing the very style and progression of Christian music, but as Stacey Campbell testified in her meetings here in Sydney,  he was so beat up, by the Church, and for no valid reason, it was sad, so very sad!  He literally lead thousands and thousands of young people to salvation in Jesus Christ. 

Prophet Stacey Campbell has a real heart for people, and actually cares deeply for people, she is great because of her humility of heart, and Love for God and people.

Revivalist Pastor Wesley Campbell, Stacey's husband, is the same, they are a dynamic duo in the Spirit.  The nicest people in the World.  I first heard them speak at CTF Toronto Canada, and later many times in Sydney. Be a Hero. org, was founded by Pastors Wesley and Stacey Campbell from Kelowna Canada.

For many years, I did a weekly talkback section, on "Airwave Salvation" which Aired over two Radio Stations each week for many many years, with the Senior Pastor Stephen Reddish, from "New Life Christian Ministries" in Liverpool, NSW, Australia.  You should be able to catch some of these talk back sessions on our Sound Cloud Channel, called "Airwave Salvation with Diana Van Curren".  Pastor Stephen Reddish was happy to spread the message globally at the time, a wonderfully humble gracious Pastor.

His is a Pentecostal Church, and we covered a wide variety of topics in the talkback sessions. He was featured in some of our advertising, since joining the program for our Radio talkback sessions. He stayed with us for many years, until I moved north and out of Sydney. 

Our goals now are to share the good news of the Gospel around the world, bringing a prophetic emphasis in the Prophetic Reports,, as well as interviews and messages, and Revival News, with great Christian music, which I present. Our mission is to light Revival Fires around the World, and bring glory to God. Jesus is the only way to God the Father in Heaven, and the only Redeemer of mankind, and this needs to be heard.

BELIEFS:

We believe in the one true God, The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, that they are three persons of the God head, and one God in Unity and purpose, that God's plan was to redeem fallen man kind from sin by sending Jesus Christ to save the world, and that on the cross, He intentionally paid for our sins, so we could be restored to right relationship with God, by accepting Jesus as our Lord and personal Savior, when we confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior, he forgives all our past sins and washes us clean through the redemption of his one time sacrifice, his life, his blood, for our life. On the Cross He opened the window to Heaven, for all those who will accept Him as their personal Savior.

Romans 10 v 9-13 shows us how to receive Jesus as our Savior, it's not only about the words we say, but there must be a total sincerity of heart when we pray this prayer, for the encounter to be genuine, we must (mean it) when we pray!

John 14v6: Jesus said:

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me".

The Holy Spirit in the New Birth Creation.

John 3v3 "Jesus said: I tell you the truth, unless your are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God". John 3v5: Jesus said: "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. John 3v6: Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to Spiritual Life. John 3v7: So don't be surprised, when I say, "You" must be born again.

Genesis 1v2: and the Earth was without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep, :and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The Holy Spirit was there Hovering over the face of the waters at the creation of the Earth, "hovering" also means "Dynamic Presence", here we see the Holy Spirit's ministry from the very beginning of human existence, and He has not left Planet Earth, He is still here!  The Holy Spirit hovered above the face of the waters, as God prepared to create the Earth.

When we are born again, this same Holy Spirit, puts a deposit of Himself, a deposit and guarantee of our salvation in him, he puts a seal on us and in our Hearts (Spirit),  2 Corinthians 1v22.
